Attorney Tim Wooten, who got his post-graduate degree at Erskine College and Georgia State University College of Law, excelled in his legal career, founding firms practicing in estate planning and elder law, and is recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer. His earlier life as a rock musician in the U.K. and U.S. shows his artistic side. Beyond law and music, Tim is a sports enthusiast, supporting the North Carolina State Wolfpack, Tottenham Hotspur, and holding season tickets for Atlanta United Football Club.

Tim graduated Erskine College with a BA in history and graduated from Georgia State University College of Law, cum laude in the top 10% of his class. After litigating in state and federal courts throughout the United States as a partner at a nationally renowned law firm, Tim founded the Wooten Firm and Gower Wooten Darneille, LLC to focus on Personal Injury, elder law, and Workers Compensation. Tim is a member of Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, the State Bar of Georgia, and the State Bar of South Carolina. He has taught at Emory University, is an experienced and respected appellate lawyer, and is continues to be selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer through a peer review process. Tim is devoted to educating members of the community about the importance of estate planning, long term care planning, and proper tax planning.
Before law school, Tim was a performing rock musician in the U.K. and United States. He is an avid fan and collector of Rickenbacker guitars, vintage Vox amplifiers, and analog guitar effect pedals. He is a founding member and season ticket holder of Atlanta United Football Club and is a supporter of the North Carolina State Wolfpack and Tottenham Hotspur.
